🛟 PATROLLING & PROFICIENCIES
All patrols have now been loaded into SurfGuard.
If you cannot see your patrols in your Members Portal, please email clubcaptain@eimeoslsc.com.au.
For quick reference, patrols are also listed on the Club Calendar:
Proficiencies
This season is a little different to past years, and we need members to attend set sessions to help streamline the process for everyone.
The key focus this season is CPR-GO, which introduces significant changes in how CPR roles are defined.
You must complete your online skills maintenance before attending a practical session, as the videos explain these changes in detail.
The practical proficiency sessions will focus on scenarios, with each member rotating through different roles to put the new CPR processes into practice.
In addition to CPR, proficiencies will also cover signals, radio, and run/rescue.
To register:
Go into eTraineu (via the Hub – note this is different to Axcelerate).
When completing your online skills maintenance, you can register for a proficiency session - this needs to be done so we can check you have completed required information before attending. The sessions below have been checked against carnivals to try and pick times that give you options for Saturday / Sunday.
If you need help navigating the system, please reach out to your Patrol Captain or Cynthia.
📅 Proficiency Dates:
- 25 September 4.30pm (school holidays Thursday)
- 6 October 1pm
- 8 November 2pm
- 29 November 8am
