For over 22 years the Eimeo Surf Life Saving Club (Eimeo SLSC) has had a proud history of patrolling and providing a community service at Eimeo Beach and surrounding areas (from Dolphin Heads to Bucasia).
Eimeo is one of the largest surf clubs in the Whitsunday region, with membership of over 200 from nippers through to masters. The services provided by Eimeo SLSC are voluntary and range from emergency search/rescue, preventative programs to ensure beach visitors avoid danger (surveillance, safe swimming, shark warning, identification of rips, stinger sweep), first aid treatment, and junior development activities.
Eimeo SLSC enables the community to enjoy the beach and our local area in a safe environment. The cost of providing this service is only possible thanks to the dedicated support of the community.
