Change to Surf Sports Training Program:
Nippers is finished but surf sports training continues on Wednesday afternoons at 4:30pm for those U8 an up, with Competition proficiencies until 11th Feb 2026. Unless otherwise posted.
Training on Sundays now will be just for those who have made the NBB team as we will break into specific training for the specialised events, they will be competing in at the Queensland State Titles.Save the Date - Cutting of the Ham 19 December from 5pm
EOI for Drone Captain:
Eimeo SLSC is in the process of onboarding a drone to be used within our standard patrol operations. To make this possible we need a member to be our nominated Drone Captain. Successful rollouts of drones within Clubs across QLD often depends on the skill of their Done Captain to ensure smooth adoption and we need to appoint the right person for the role. Volunteers for Australia Day 2026 - Fun Morning at Eimeo
We’re excited to share that the Club has been successful in securing a Mackay Regional Council Grant to support our Australia Day 2026 celebrations.
We know it’s still a long way off, but that weekend is already shaping up to be a busy one with several other events on. To help us plan ahead, we’re seeking expressions of interest from members who would be available to assist on the day.
If you’re keen to volunteer, help organise activities, or just want to be involved in a fun morning at Eimeo, please let us know.

Join us for our annual Cutting of Ham
All members and their families are invited to attend the 2025 Cutting of the Ham.
The Cutting of the Ham is our annual celebration of the silly season and a thank you to everyone who volunteers and helps out around the Club.
Date: 19 December from 5pm, on the top deck of the surf club
What to bring: a plate to share for dessert or nibbles. The Club will supply baked hams, salads and breads.
Dress Code: Come dressed for the season - the sillier the shirt the better

Social Media Age Restrictions Update
At Eimeo SLSC, the safety and wellbeing of our members always come first.
Due to current social media age restrictions and safety requirements, the club will not be using any platforms that do not meet these standards.
We are in the process of selecting a safe and compliant communication platform for the season ahead. Some patrol groups are trialling the TEAMS App to enable further rollout soon. Please familiarise yourself with the changes
