Celebrating 25 years
As part of our 25-year celebrations, and thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Robertson Family, Skyline Cabinets, we’re excited to announce that a unique commemorative print will be created to mark this milestone to go on our 25th Anniversary shirts.
We’ve engaged the talents of designer Edwina, who will bring our Club’s story to life through this special artwork. To help Edwina capture what makes our Club truly special, we’re gathering input from members — past and present — about what defines us. On the link you will see some of her unique and beautiful designs so that you understand why we are asking these questions
Please take a few minutes to share your ideas here:
https://form.jotform.com/253027583011044
Think about the things that make our Club unique — memorable moments, symbols, values, colours, places, or stories that represent our journey over the past 25 years. Every idea, big or small, will help shape a design that reflects the true spirit of our Club and community.
Ideas to get you thinking.... is it kids riding their bikes around Eimeo? our geography - rocks, cotton trees, low tide? marine creatures? or simply Bill mowing the lawn in his stinger suit? inflatable boat race or the Guinness World Record Flags, we’d love to hear your ideas! The above list is just some thoughts to get you in the groove.
Submissions close at midday 24 November.
PS - you can enter as many times as you like.
If you want to be involved with the design, email Jade at administrator@eimeoslsc.com.au
Some work completed by the designer:

BRANCH CARNIVAL!
NOMINATIONS ARE NOW DUE - It’s Branch Champs Time — and it’s at Eimeo!
We’re thrilled to be hosting the Branch Championships Carnival right here at Eimeo Beach!
It’s been a long time since we’ve had one on home sand — so let’s make it a big one!
Carnival Dates: 22 & 23 November
We’d love to see as many members as possible getting involved. The carnival is open to U8s and above and is a great way to experience surf sports — without the long drive! Compete in as many (or as few) events as you/ kid likes. If you are unsure if your child has competition proficiency, please email Ross at surfsports@eimeoslsc.com.au
We are aware that there is a dance concert on this weekend. The good thing about Surf is that one fee covers the entire weekend - so you can just do part of it without financial impact.
How to Register
Direct via LiveHeats: https://liveheats.com/events/434690
Through the Club: Register via the Club’s website https://clothing-at-eimeo-slsc.square.site/carnivals (please note this option is slightly more expensive)
Nominations close 12 November — don’t miss out! Wednesday surf sports session can help anyone having issues.

Congratulations to both recipients!
🛟 PROFICIENCIES – IMPORTANT INFO
This season’s proficiency process looks a little different, with a strong focus on CPR-GO, which introduces significant changes to how CPR roles are defined.
👉 Before attending a practical session, you must complete your online skills maintenance. The videos explain the new CPR processes, so this step is essential.
During practical proficiency sessions, the focus will be on scenarios, with each member rotating through roles to practise the updated CPR approach. In addition, proficiencies will cover:
Signals
Radio
Run/Rescue
📲 How to Register:
Log into eTrainu (via the Hub – note this is different to Axcelerate).
Complete your online skills maintenance.
Register for a practical proficiency session (this step is required so we can check your online completion beforehand).

North Aussies 2025
Congratulations Team Eimeo on a fabulous performance at #NorthAussies2025!

3rd overall for Junior Club is no small achievement — what an incredible effort from everyone involved!
It was great to see some of our Albatross members participating in the adaptive component of the event. There were smiles all round.
A huge thank you to our coaches for the countless hours spent planning and training the team on the beach and pool, and to our water safety crew who show up every week to make training possible.
Events like North Aussies simply wouldn’t happen without our team manager, officials, IRB crews, water safety, and age managers — your dedication makes it all possible.
And a special shout-out to Ross, our DOSS, who not only ensures surf sports runs smoothly but also makes sure we have the gear we need to succeed. Thank you, Ross!
QUEENSLAND COUNTRY TEAM
Congratulations Flynn, Gabby and Nina on making the U13 QLD Country Team!
This selection represents the pinnacle achievement for our local legends. These three have been training hard and striving for this goal since they were U11s — what an incredible reward for their dedication and effort.
Wear the maroon with pride!

AGE CHAMPION
Congratulations to U11 Nipper Fletcher on an outstanding performance at North Aussies, taking out Male Age Champion!
A medal in every event — pool, land, and beach!

Fletcher has been eager to take part in this event for years, watching his clubmates and siblings compete. This year he finally got his chance, and his hard work and enthusiasm certainly shone through.
🩺 Upcoming First Aid & CPR Training – Saturday 6 December

👥 Who can attend: Open to all members (not just patrolling members)
If you complete this course, you will not need to complete the CPR component of your annual proficiency — it’s covered through this training.
