This means we need to have membership fees paid. If you are having trouble renewing your membership or creating one - please arrive early and we will have someone to help. Uniform shop will be open from 7.30am.

We have Forrest Beach carnival on the 7 and 8 October. If you are planning on coming please complete your carnival nomination forms ASAP. Forrest Beach is a fun carnival where you can camp for free in the park near the Club house. The Italian contingent cooks a fabulous dinner on the Saturday night and the kids run around in the park. We love the atmosphere of the Forrest Beach! Don't be put off by the distance, it is a lot of fun and the kids love coming here year after year. An email was sent out yesterday from Ross our Director of Surf Sports.

Congratulations to our newest patrolling members!  Tess is now a Bronze and we welcome Levi, Izac, Seb and Owen into our patrolling ranks. Good work guys and we look forward to seeing you on the beach. If you are wanting to do your bronze or surf rescue certificate - Cynthia is going to be at Memorial Pool tomorrow morning at 8am if you need to get your swim completed - please email training@eimeoslsc.com.au if you are planning on attending.

EIMEO'S OKTOBERFEST NEEDS YOU! VOLUNTEER HERE

Oktoberfest at Eimeo Beach on Sunday 1st October is one of our club's biggest fund raising events of the year.  To run this event it takes a lots of volunteers.  This is your chance to get involved in our community and help the club raise the funds it needs to run nippers and keep our beach safe.

We need at least another 20 helpers to make this day a success. Don't feel afraid - you will meet lots of great people and we will train you on what needs to be done.

We need help with setting up, food and bar services, ticket collection, packing down and lots of other smaller jobs.  No experience needed just a willing attitude to have some fun and join in.  On the Sunday we will need your help from 10am through 6.30pm.  You can help all day or just for a few hours.  There are also a number of pre-event jobs that need doing - if you are interested we would love your help here as well.

All volunteers will be welcome at our volunteer after party from 6.30pm at the club to watch the Grand Final and have a bbq dinner (hopefully with German food leftover!

It will provide members the warning signs of mental health problems in other adults, provide skills to talk about mental health, how to respond in crisis and reduce the stigma around mental health.

Topics covered include depression, anxiety, panic attacks, suicidal thoughts, and behaviours. You will learn how and where to get help when a person is developing a mental illness, what help research has shown to be effective and how to provide first aid in crisis situations. If you have any questions or issues, please reach out to either myself or Maddi – mcaughlan@lifesaving.com.au.
