We have launched our "Mega Raffle" today thanks to the amazing donations by local Mackay businesses.
It will be drawn on the 5 August @ 9pm. We ask that you share this with your family and friends. If we can sell the tickets in this raffle, we will need to do a lot less fundraising this year.
CALENDAR
The calendar for the season is out. You will notice that nippers commences on the 26 & 27 August and the program will conclude on the 10th December (below is more details on the start of nippers). This change to the Nippers season has been based on feedback from our members. You will notice that nippers will run most weekends this season - just follow the dolphin icon on the calendar. There are a few events still to be worked through and they will be added as the season progresses. Training for surf sports will continue after this date into the new year. See below for the nippers update.
MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS
We ask you to start the process of renewing your membership. The backend process around memberships is very time consuming. Log into your Members account to complete this process: https://members.sls.com.au/ The pricing will stay the same as last year.
BRONZE AND SURF RESCUE CERTIFICATE COURES
Without patrolling members we do not have a surf club or the ability to offer junior activities. We ask you this season to think about doing this training. A Surf Rescue Certificate allows you to assist with water safety at nippers and carnivals.
Sarina Surf Life Saving Club is running a Bronze and SRC Course from the 19 to 23 September. We would love to see some Eimeo members on this course. This course will be run over the 5 days for bronze and 3 for SRC to allow for it to be completed in a compressed period of time. email training@eimeoslsc.com.au if you are interested in attending.The first week of the school holidays we have the NBB Youth Camp for SRC & Bronze up at Magnetic Island. This is the best location for youth to complete their training as the program is designed to be fun, targeted and a great environment to build lasting friendships. The wait is over, Nippers returns in 33 sleeps 
Unless I’m too excited and have counted wrong but you get the idea 
We look forward to seeing all our returning and new Nippers at one or both of these sessions.
If you can make both that would be awesome!
The first 2 nipers sessions will be the 26/08 at 3-5pm at the Pioneer Pool and 27/08 10-12 at the Pioneer Pool. They will be run like normal nippers days so please rock up 20 mins prior to register and get ready. We are using the pool this year to start the season off so that we can get the proficiencies completed as well as practice some pool based skills and events. No stinger suit required here!
Our plan is to rotate with your age groups to complete your proficiency, get to know your Age Manager and fellow Nippers, board practice for appropriate ages and lots of other fun activities.
You are welcome to bring a friend or 10! This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in Nippers to get involved in the fun.

RUN OUT DISCONTINUED SWIM WEAR AND CLOTHING
This coming Friday night 28/07 we will be running out discontinued uniforms / clothing. This is a perfect opportunity to snag a bargain items will range from $5 to $20. There will be no holds, so pop on down and have a look.

Nate & Madi both represented Capricornia at the recent Qld Schools Cross Country. Both ran in highly competitive age groups with Madi coming in 14th and Nate 38th. Outstanding effort guys!
